Day 1

We begin our journey to the Home of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. It is known for its rolling hills. Our first stop will be in a city known for its pure energy and soul, Memphis, TN.

Day 2

We will be in the beautiful and historic town of Abingdon, Virginia. It lies just west of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Range.

Day 3

This day will begin with a stop at the Natural Bridge. It is 20 stories of solid rock, carved by the fingers of nature. After arriving in Lancaster we will have dinner at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Now in its 20th year, it consistently provides top quality productions and award winning food.

Day 4

We will meet our step on guide for an Amish Farm & House Tour. What a unique experience this will be. Then we will spend some time at the Kitchen Kettle Village. It is 40 shops and restaurants plus their famous canning kitchen. From here we will go to the Intercourse Pretzel Factory. There are only a handful of companies that still hand twist hard pretzels. During our tour, they will explain how they make pretzels and then let's us learn how to twist a pretzel. Next will be Ruby's Country Surprise! Tonight we will have dinner in an Amish home. What an experience this will be.

Day 5

We will meet our step on guide who will give us a guided tour of Hershey, the town that chocolate built 100 years ago. We will see everything from the Founder's Hall, to Chocolate World, to The Antique Automobile Club of America. Then it is dinner at the Historic Olde Greenfield Inn. Next we will enjoy a performance at the American Music Theatre.

Day 6

Today we are going to take a guided tour of historic Philadelphia. We will see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Congress Hall, Franklin Court, and more. Lunch will be at the Historic Bourse. It was built in 1895. It now houses 24 shops and restaurants. After lunch we will be visiting Longwood Gardens. You will be immersed not only in the breathtaking surroundings, but in the rich history as well. It is 200 years old. We will step back in time and learn about the important cultural events and their contribution to today's Longwood Gardens. It is sure to delight anyone who loves exquisite flowers, majestic trees, and opulent architecture. You will find beauty at every turn amid these 1020 acres.

Day 7

As we prepare to head home we will visit the Bird In Hand Farmer's Market. It is a unique combination of stores, vendors, and a true farmer's market. We will spend the night in Abingdon, Virginia. While we are here we will visit the Natural Bridge Wax Museum. It offers something for everyone, as it features figurines and scenes from Virginia's History. It has more than 150 life size statues.

Day 8

We will stop in Cookeville, TN for a visit to the Cookeville Depot Museum. We will see railway artifacts, memorabilia, numerous photographs of the railroad in Putnam County over the years, scale trains, an authentic 1913 Baldwin steam Locomotive, and two cabooses. We will end this day in Memphis

Day 9

This will be the final day of this incredible journey and we will arrive back home with many wonderful memories and photos.
